ACT SpecialistLocation:
Phoenix, AZ (Salary $56,000-$61,000)
F/ACT Specialist is a senior staff member with extensive F/ACT and rehabilitative experience. In the absence of the Clinical Coordinator, the specialist performs the duties of the Clinical Coordinator, overseeing case management, treatment planning, staff coordination, and quality assurance.
Responsibilities- Provide direct clinical supervision and support to F/ACT team members.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients experiencing crisis, opioid use disorder, homelessness, or mental illness.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care, ensuring compliance with evidence-based practices.
- Conduct assessments using tools such as the Vulnerability Index Service Prioritization Decision Assistance Tool (VI-SPDAT).
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and quality metrics.
- Serve as a liaison between clients, families, and community resources.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree in behavioral health preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience on an F/ACT team.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with the SMI population.
- Experience in multiple settings and levels of care, including mental health and substance abuse, preferred.
- Pass criminal background check for jail visitation/clearance.
- Recovery from Alcohol or Drugs and/or GMH for at least 1 consecutive year preferred; or equivalent experience.
- Current Arizona driver’s license.
- Clean 39‑month MVR.
- Fingerprint clearance card required.
- Ability to complete the VI‑SPDAT and, if applicable, obtain peer certification.
