• Complete patients’ medical history and evaluate pulses to assess blood flow in arteries and veins by listening to vascular flow sounds for abnormalities.
• Ensure appropriate vascular tests have been ordered and complete necessary documentation, charge capture, logs, and records.
• Conduct basic equipment maintenance, perform quality control measures, and report abnormal findings when immediate attention is indicated.
• Attend regular QA meetings for the vascular department and confirm appointments with patients following scheduling protocols.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
• Ability to manage multiple changing priorities in an effective and organized fashion.
• Knowledge of and strict adherence to HIPAA guidelines and secure protected health information at all times.
• 2–5 years of work experience in vascular diagnostics.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Registered Vascular Tech (RVT) through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS), or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and CPR certification required.
