TITLE:Maintenance Supervisor
LOCATION:
On‑Site, Avon, OH COMPENSATION RANGE: $50,851.72 - $84,752.52/Year
Custom Culinary, a subsidiary of Griffith Foods, is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor to drive a culture of maintenance excellence within the production facility. This role focuses on reducing maintenance‑related losses, including breakdowns, maintenance costs, and lost productivity, through preventive maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement practices.
Responsibilities- Supervise maintenance personnel and set priorities for maintenance schedules.
- Develop and manage maintenance procedures for production lines in a food manufacturing environment.
- Maintain facility and manufacturing assets, including inventory, purchasing, and invoice approvals.
- Lead, train, and develop maintenance staff; set clear performance expectations and accountability.
- Strong technical and maintenance expertise across electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.
- Proven leadership and people‑management skills.
- Operational excellence mindset focused on reliability and continuous improvement.
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and professional standards.
- High School diploma or GED with 10+ years of experience

* * bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience. - 5+ years of maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong technical knowledge of maintenance disciplines including PLCs and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Willingness to work onsite and on weekends.
- Food or beverage manufacturing experience.
- TPM, Lean, or Six Sigma experience.
- CMMS experience.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand and walk to communicate and listen effectively. This will require both office and plant floor environments.
Environmental concerns:
The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Dust and odor are present in the environment.
