Dietary Assistant

Overview

Saint Therese y of the Woods in Avon, OH is seeking a part-time Dietary Assistant to join our team. This facility is a five-star Medicare/Medicaid community recognized as a 2024 Best Nursing Home by U.S. News & World Report.

The Dietary Assistant is responsible for preparing food in accordance with prescribed resident diet specifications, facility procedures, and dietary and sanitary regulations under the direction of the Dietary Supervisor.

• 7:00am - 2:00pm (40 hours per two-week pay period)
• 11:00am - 7:00pm (30 hours per two-week pay period)

• One year of previous food service experience in a skilled nursing facility (preferred).

• Relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with other employees.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Meet all health regulations and pass post-employment physical, criminal background check, and reference screening.
• Ability to read English and follow oral and written direction.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
