Position SummaryWe are seeking a motivated and analytical Quality Engineer to join our growing manufacturing team. This role is responsible for ensuring products and processes meet internal quality standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations. The Quality Engineer will apply advanced engineering principles, analyze process performance data, lead corrective and preventive actions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated manufacturing environment.
This position requires strong problem-solving skills, technical judgment, and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally to support operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities- Perform and interpret statistical analysis and process capability studies I.e. (Cp/Cpk)
- Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Facilitate risk assessments and mitigation strategies for products and processes
- Lead and coordinate APQP deliverables including FMEA, control plans, process flows, and validation activities
- Analyze KPIs and quality metrics to identify trends and drive improvement
- Support and lead Lean / Continuous Improvement initiatives
- Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with AS9100 or other applicable standards
- Plan and conduct internal quality audits
- Ensure measurement systems and calibration processes support compliance requirements
- Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Purchasing, and Customer teams to resolve quality issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred or related technical discipline, or equivalent professional experience
- One (1) to three (3) or more years of progressive quality engineering experience in a regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of quality methodologies, statistical analysis, and process improvement tools
- Experience working within AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar regulatory frameworks
