Full Time Dental Hygienist
Location:
Westshore Periodontics and Dental Implants | Avon, Ohio | In-Office Position
Westshore Periodontics and Dental Implants is a well-established dental practice committed to providing high-quality care in a warm and friendly environment. We focus on patient-centered care and offer a wide range of dental services. We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team.
Responsibilities- Conduct thorough oral health assessments and report findings to the surgeon
- Take dental x-rays using handheld x-ray machines
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventative care
- Assist the surgeon during exams and procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Stay up to date with the latest dental practices and technologies
- Valid Dental Hygienist license
- CPR certification
- Thorough understanding of HIPAA and OSHA policies
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with patients of all ages
- Proficiency in dental software systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
