About the Lake Erie Crushers and Fore Front Field
The Lake Erie Crushers are a professional baseball team based in Avon, Ohio, just 18
miles west of Cleveland at Fore Front Field. They compete in the Frontier League, a
proud MLB Partner League, and have brought a family-friendly, fan-oriented baseball
experience to Northeast Ohio since 2009. As Lorain County's only professional sports
franchise, the Lake Erie Crushers are the largest economic driver in Lorain County,
hosting more than 200 events per year that include over 50 baseball games, concerts,
charity functions, and other events that bring the community together. Len Komoroski is
the Crushers Chairman and Managing Partner, and the team is led by President Vic
Gregovits. Jared Lemieux, a Maine Baseball Hall of Fame inductee, is in his fourth
season as field manager.

Position Overview
The Graphic Design Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting the marketing and
creative team for the Lake Erie Crushers and Fore Front Field. This role is hands-on and
ideal for someone eager to build their portfolio while gaining real-world experience in a
fast-paced, brand-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing digital and print assets including social media graphics, email
blasts, signage, ads, and promotional materials.

• Support game-day and event creative needs.

• Help maintain brand consistency across all platforms.

• Collaborate with sales and content teams on creative projects.

• Make edits and revisions based on feedback and deadlines.

• Organize and manage design files and assets.

• Stay current on design trends, especially in sports and digital media.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college or university and eligible to receive academic
credit with a focus on graphic design, visual communication, marketing or a
related field.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photo Shop, Illustrator, InDesign); motion or
video experience is a plus.

Experience with Canva.

• Basic understanding of social media platforms and content formats.

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills.

• Ability to take direction and apply feedback.

• Creative mindset with a willingness to learn.

• Portfolio or work samples require (class projects welcome).

Schedule & Commitment

• Internship runs from May through August.

• Hours vary based on event schedule and projects with ability to apply hours to
the traditional Monday-Friday 9a-5p work schedule, as well as additional
opportunities to support game nights and special events.
