This position is compensated with an hourly base equivalent to approximately $40,000–$50,000 annually, plus commission on closed and collected business. Total compensation is based on experience and performance and will be discussed during the interview process. Commission rates and earning potential may increase as responsibilities and results grow.

Role OverviewWe are seeking a motivated Sales Representative to manage the full sales cycle for new business opportunities, from initial outreach through closing. This role is well-suited for an early-career sales professional who is comfortable prospecting, meeting clients in person, and learning to sell consultatively within the security industry. The Sales Representative will work closely with ownership during onboarding and training, with increasing autonomy as experience and performance grow.
This is a primarily field-based role supporting clients within our service area. Responsibilities include prospecting, on-site client meetings, solution presentations, and follow-up. Administrative tasks such as proposals, documentation, and pipeline tracking may be completed remotely or from the office as needed.
Key Responsibilities- Prospect and identify new residential and commercial sales opportunities
- Conduct in-person and virtual meetings to assess customer needs
- Present and recommend appropriate security solutions
- Prepare and deliver sales proposals and pricing
- Manage follow-up and move opportunities through the sales process
- Close new business and transition projects to operations
- Maintain basic sales activity and pipeline tracking
- Represent the company professionally in the field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfort owning conversations and asking for the close
- Ability to manage time, priorities, and follow-ups independently
- Willingness to learn security technology and solutions
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Basic computer proficiency (email, documents, CRM or quoting tools)
- Prior sales experience in the security industry
- Experience with face-to-face or consultative selling
- Familiarity with security, construction, or low-voltage industries
