Family Nurse Practitioner or Women's Health Nurse Practitioner – IU Health West, Avon, IN.

• Full‑time, days shift
• Monday‑Friday
• No weekends, holidays, or on‑call
• 100% outpatient
• Procedures include: IUD insertions, birth control implant insertions, endometrial biopsies, vulvar biopsies, incision and drainage
• Patient volume in office: 15‑20/day

• Patient Care: Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans for OB/GYN patients.
• Testing and Diagnostics: Order and interpret diagnostic tests to inform patient care decisions.
• Documentation: Accurately document patient encounters, treatment plans, and follow‑up care in electronic medical records.
• Education: Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventative care.
• Follow‑up: Provide follow‑up care to monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaboration: Work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high‑quality, coordinated care.

• FNP or WHNP board certification required.
• At least 3 years of clinical experience in women’s health/OBGYN required.
• Ideal candidates will have experience in an OB/GYN outpatient setting or family practice with gynecological experience.
• New graduates must have labor and delivery experience preferred and experience inserting IUDs and implants.
• Must have strong clinical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient‑centered care.
