Responsibilities- Plan, guide, and evaluate student learning processes.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and administration.
- Demonstrate proficiency in reading and writing.
- Exhibit strong human‑relations skills, including professional tact, diplomacy, and presentation.
- Maintain multitasking and strong organizational skills.
- Utilize 21st‑century technological skills to enhance teaching and learning.
- Monitor and evaluate student outcomes.
- Use data effectively to guide and differentiate instruction for individual needs.
- Prepare objective‑based lessons aligned to state content standards.
- Select instructional strategies and activities that meet lesson objectives.
- Design formative assessments that measure progress toward mastery and inform instruction.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and correct records as required by law, district policy, and administrative procedures.
- Develop student understanding and mastery of lesson objectives.
- Deliver content knowledge that is factually correct, clear, concise, and well organized while adjusting for student needs.
- Engage students in multiple learning modalities and intelligences aligned to lesson objectives.
- Use diverse methods to check for understanding.
- Advance higher levels of understanding through rigorous instruction and student engagement.
- Maximize instructional time.
- Create a classroom culture of respect, collaboration, and student safety.

Regular duties include sitting, standing, hand use, speaking, and hearing. Frequent walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth, and focus.
