The Prestige Beauty Advisor (PBA) is responsible for maximizing sales in the prestige category (color cosmetics, skincare, and fragrance) by engaging guests to determine their individual needs and assisting guests in the selection and purchase of prestige merchandise, while following all company policies and procedures. All responsibilities are done while maintaining store standards, including cleanliness and replenishment. This position supports the Sales Manager through a focus on performance, people, and process.

• Performance: Contribute to meeting or exceeding store’s retail and service sales goals, guest loyalty, shrink, and omni-channel sales; focus on prestige category and iconic brands.
• Service: Provide exceptional guest experience, greet and engage every guest, personalize service, recommend complementary products, and inform about current promotions, events, and services.
• Transactions: Handle sales, refunds, and exchanges courteously.
• Product Demonstrations: Perform makeup applications, skincare analysis, and product demonstrations to drive sales and service experience.
• Appointments: Book and support services and in-store events that deliver an unrivaled guest experience.
• Industry Knowledge: Stay informed on new and existing industry trends, products, and services; knowledge of ingredients and benefits.
• People: Contribute to an inclusive environment, collaborate with managers and associates, and participate in ongoing training.
• Process: Comply with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards; adhere to dress code; maintain retail area inventory and presentation; uphold cleanliness and security; complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, and inventory procedures.
• Guest Loyalty: Share benefits of loyalty program and app.
• Loss Prevention: Protect company assets and provide exceptional service.
• Attendance: Maintain prompt, regular attendance.

• Education: High school diploma preferred; cosmetology, esthetician, or demonstrator’s license if required by state law.
• Experience: 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination preferred.
• Skills: Passion for prestige products, guest service, and selling; strong communication; ability to build and maintain relationships; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Special Position Requirements: Work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays; attend corporate meetings and conferences, including overnight stays.
• Working Conditions: Frequent mobility, standing, bending, reaching, pulling, pushing, twisting; continuous lifting up to 10 lbs.; continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.

The pay range for this position is $16.94 – $22.50 per hour. Exact pay will be based on factors including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business needs. Eligible associates may earn overtime pay as required by law. Full‑time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life, and disability benefits. Part‑time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
