Location: Avon, Connecticut

CoWorx Staffing is currently hiring for 1st shift assemblers for a new client located in Avon, CT. This is a 9-hour shift starting around 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. with a 30-minute paid break, Monday through Thursday, and a 4-hour work day on Fridays. Pay rate: $17.25/hr temp-Hire.

• Assembling medical parts/components and specialty fiber optic sub-components and products to meet production and Quality requirements.
• Work closely with other Assemblers, Technicians and Engineers in the area, and follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
• Perform assigned tasks consistently, including a variety of basic and intermediate fiber optic assembly processes.

• Previous fiber optic assembly experience helpful, but basic assembly experience required.
• Must be comfortable with basic math and reading.
• Keen attention to detail required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Familiar with hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices is helpful.
