Overview
Location: Avon, Connecticut
CoWorx Staffing is currently hiring for 1st shift assemblers for a new client located in Avon, CT. This is a 9-hour shift starting around 5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. with a 30-minute paid break, Monday through Thursday, and a 4-hour work day on Fridays. Pay rate: $17.25/hr temp-Hire.
Responsibilities- Assembling medical parts/components and specialty fiber optic sub-components and products to meet production and Quality requirements.
- Work closely with other Assemblers, Technicians and Engineers in the area, and follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Perform assigned tasks consistently, including a variety of basic and intermediate fiber optic assembly processes.
- Previous fiber optic assembly experience helpful, but basic assembly experience required.
- Must be comfortable with basic math and reading.
- Keen attention to detail required.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Familiar with hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices is helpful.
