Job DescriptionPosition: Wilson Reading Teacher - Extended School Year
Qualifications: CT special education teaching certification, Wilson Training Level 1 or higher and experience with Spire; required.
Responsibilities:
- Provide individual or small group instruction using the Wilson Reading Program or the Spire reading program
- Progress monitor on each student
- Complete progress reports pertaining to goals and objectives upon completion of ESY
- Collaborate with teachers, related service providers and paraprofessionals
Terms of Employment: Position will begin on July 1, 2026 and end July 23, 2026 Monday through Thursday of 8:30 am-12:30 pm Salary in accordance with Agreement Between The Board of Education And The Avon Education Association $51.11/hr
