Overview

We are looking for a Business Development Center (BDC) Representative to convert internet and phone leads into showroom appointments through consistent, timely and professional communication -- driving store traffic and supporting overall sales performance. The right person must love working with people as well as have strong typing, listening and communication skills. It is important that the BDC associate maintain professionalism in every interaction, you are the dealership's first impression!

A Business Development Center (BDC) agent is the backbone of the dealership in today's market. Most of our shoppers begin online - efficiency, knowledge and professionalism directly determines the success of the dealership.

Responsibilities
  • Lead & Appointment Management: log every contact attempt and conversation into the CRM with complete and accurate notes.
    • Focus on setting appointments
    • Track and confirm all appointments daily
    • Schedule follow-up calls and appointments
    • Always nurture leads, assisting customer in finding their needs
    • Complete a minimum of 100 outbound calls per day
  • Product & Inventory knowledge: essential to success; must be able to confidently discuss vehicle features and options.
    • Explaining product performance, application and benefits to prospects and describing all optional equipment available for customer purchase. Determine each customer s vehicle needs by asking questions and listening
  • Review and analyze each lead at the end of each day, week, month and year to determine how to better assist clients in their time and facilitating their car buying needs.

Requirements
  • Automotive sales background preferred
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and enthusiastic presence in a team environment
  • Strong written and communication skills
  • Valid driver s license required and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug test
