The Global Strategic Marketing Director
The Global Strategic Marketing Director serves as a strategic right hand, thought partner, and force multiplier to the SEM President and across the organization. They will be a trusted partner to the President and their leadership team with a focus on driving strategy, governance, and special projects to enable SEM's continued success.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Gain and maintain a trust‑based relationship with the SEM President, business and functional leaders, and key external stakeholders.
- Navigate competing priorities flawlessly, acting as a gateway for the President.
- Oversee large cross‑functional projects or initiatives requiring decision facilitation across diverse stakeholders to align with company priorities.
- Identify and help solve core problems or opportunities within business processes.
- Act as a key thought partner, brainstorming and identifying solutions to challenges.
- Support the President in preparing executive review presentations, action planning, and defining and tracking KPIs.
- Plan, organize, and run meetings with internal and external stakeholders and own follow‑up action items.
- Improve internal processes and decision‑making.
- Define, monitor, and report on growth metrics and key performance indicators.
- Work across all businesses and functions to drive the strategic planning process, synthesizing information to develop the "what" and the "how" for SEM's strategic plan.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or engineering. Master’s/MBA preferred.
- Detail‑oriented and data‑driven decision maker.
- Strong business judgment, acumen, and strategic planning skills with an ability to think broadly, boldly, and long‑term.
- Highly goal‑driven and thrives in a fast‑paced, matrix environment.
- Strong influencer, credible collaborator, and trusted thought partner.
- Strong project management, problem solving, analytical, and organizational experience.
- Demonstrated strength in building relationships and collaborating with multiple stakeholders across cultures and geographies.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills; experience communicating in international environments across senior leadership.
