Lead IEs and support production to develop productivity proposals (rebalances, OLOT reduction, throughput improvements).
* Lead ergonomics improvement and problem solving through IE actions Lead work station set up and optimization
* Implement engineering changes that affect the work station and allocations.
* Supervise/coach IEs with time study schedules (e.g., MODAPTS) Interface with union/works council and Health and Safety to settle job disputes and ergonomic issues
* Lead headcount cost savings projects
* Supervise monthly tracking of progress in VPOS
* Lead cycle line layout
* Supervise planning for mix and line speed changes
* Lead/manage departmental rolls analysis for weekly manpower meeting to ensure proper labor staffing and strategy
* Lead future model labor development (design, cycle line layouts, future model allocations)
* Serve as resource for plant IE training/assistance
