. The Bus Driver transports students to and from school sites and ensures passenger safety.

Safely transport students on scheduled routes, maintain discipline, conduct safety inspections, keep records, and comply with regulations.

• Drive a school bus safely in accordance with time schedules; transport students to and from their homes, a variety of school sites, and on field trips as assigned.
• Maintain order and proper discipline of passengers; resolve disputes and document severe disciplinary cases.
• Conduct established safety and operational inspection of assigned vehicle daily.
• Oversee loading/unloading of students, ensure seatbelt use.
• Maintain reports: mileage, routing, maintenance, time schedules.
• Notify appropriate individuals of delays and keep credentials updated.
• Communicate with managers, accept feedback, self‑reflect.
• Prioritize tasks and work within time constraints.
• Work evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed; minimum 32 hours per week.

What You Bring –

Competencies:

• Education:
  
  GED or High School Diploma.
• Experience:
  
  Operation of large passenger vehicles or equivalent; manage student behavior.
• License:
  Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with class P (passenger) and S (school bus) endorsements.
• Safety training:
  Completed bus driver safety training course.
• Age:
  Must be over 21 years old.
• Tests:
  Pass alcohol and drug tests; DOT Physical Examination.

• Hourly rate ranging between $21.73 and $25.56, based on years of experience.
• Performance bonus based on team performance and goal attainment.

• Paid Family Leave:
  Up to 8 weeks for birth or adoption of a child.
• Tuition Reimbursement:
  Up to 50% of tuition up to $5,250 per year.
• Employer‑Paid Mental/Behavioral Health: 5 face‑to‑face counseling sessions within a year, unlimited 24/7 telephonic counseling.
