Ryder employees who drive on this account earn $970 or more weekly and it gets better.

Paid weekly.

• Hourly pay: $27.00 per hour
• Sign‑on bonus: $750 at 30 days and $750 at 90 days
• Paid training
• Schedule:
  
  Friday – Sunday
• Start time: PM shift

• Deliver SOLO to: shuttling to surrounding areas
• Route: local home daily
• Tractor type: day cab, must be able to operate manual
• Trailer type: dry van 53’
• Freight: no touch – general freight

Trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance, and company drivers fuel up trucks at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.

• Ensuring compliance with applicable federal, state laws, regulations, and agency rules, standards, and guidelines
• Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards; maintaining accurate records and logs
• Loading/unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Pass a Ryder drug test
• Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor‑trailer or comparable vehicle:
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, or
  • 2 years’ experience within last 5 years, or
  • 5 years’ experience within last 10 years
• Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations, policies, and/or procedures
