We are looking for an AIR FREIGHT SUPERVISOR to manage and drive the performance of a team of Export and Import specialists. The key role is to ensure that both customer and operational requirements are met or exceeded. This position is based at our Austin facility.

• Oversee air freight product profitability, driving continuous improvement to increase efficiencies and reduce waste.
• Supervise staff, including hiring, coaching, training, and performance development.
• Maintain employee records and complete annual performance reviews.
• Assist in annual budget preparation for the area of responsibility.
• Ensure accuracy of invoices, bills of lading, shipping statements, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Lead vendor relationships to provide the highest level of service, answering customer inquiries and supporting related customer service functions.
• Control ground cost margins and prepare monthly activity/revenue reports.
• Prepare and provide rate quotations to customers and overseas offices.

• 2+ years of freight forwarding experience required; import and export experience preferred.
• 2+ years of airfreight leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with Cargo Wise software preferred.
• P&L experience preferred.
• Knowledge of gateways and consolidations a plus.
• Experience with DG/Hazmat and TSA regulations a plus.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
• BA/BS degree preferred.

$72,525.00 - $96,700.00+ (Based on Experience)
