Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa seeks seasonal Lifeguards for the Barton Creek Country Club. This role supports hospitality and guest services by maintaining safety and exceptional service standards. The position is seasonal with a start date of March 4th and an end date of September 15th.

• Successfully complete the International Lifeguard Training Program and ongoing training requirements.
• Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; respond immediately and appropriately to ensure safety during emergencies.
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Present a professional appearance and attitude at all times, maintaining a high standard of customer service.
• Perform maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Prepare and maintain appropriate activity reports and daily log of events.
• Handle or refer problems and situations to the Manager as they arise within the facility.
• Prepare routine administrative paperwork.
• Work independently and in team settings as required; attend department meetings as scheduled.
• Maintain continuous observation of pool, deck, and surrounding areas to identify and report safety hazards promptly.
• Organize work areas efficiently.
• Ensure opening and closing duties are completed, including securing the area and turning off equipment and lights.

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Previous lifeguard experience preferred.
• CPR/AED Certification required.
