The Austin Waldorf School (TAPPS) is seeking a varsity soccer head coach for the school year. We play Fall Soccer in TAPPS so the season is August-early November. Having high school soccer coaching experience at any level (1A-6A) is preferred but not required. Applicants need to be able to work in a collaborative environment and have strong communication skills with players, parents, administrators, and other coaches.
This is a part‑time stipend position.
- Develop and lead practices appropriate for various skill levels.
- Attend all practices and games (August-early November).
- Attend AWS athletics staff meetings as needed.
- Communicate regularly and professionally with student‑athletes, parents, administrators, and other coaches.
- Meet with players and parents as needed.
- Attend the TAPPS All‑District Meeting at the end of season.
- Attend and speak at the end‑of‑season banquet.
- Lead off‑season workouts (March‑May).
- Lead the AWS soccer summer camp & summer workouts (June‑July).
