Youth Soccer Instructor

Position Overview

We are hiring part-time passionate, engaging coaches committed to impacting Austin youth through soccer.

• $20–23/hour after completing paid training period (training paid at $15/hour)
• Potential to be promoted to Lead Coach after a full 10‑week season ($25–$30/hr)
• Part‑time flexible schedule
• Locations available around the greater Austin area:
  Austin, Georgetown, Round Rock, Leander, Cedar Park, Pflugerville, Hutto, Buda, San Marcos, Kyle
• Extra need in Leander, Bee Cave, Lakeway, and Dripping Springs
• Leadership training
• Communicative, supportive team centered on a culture of fun and excellence

Soccer Shots offers noncompetitive, introductory soccer classes (“sessions”) on a weekly basis at parks, preschools, daycares, indoor facilities, and elementary schools around the greater Austin area. Schedules are created seasonally (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter) and determined based on availability and location.

Coaches must commit to an entire season schedule with priority given to those available at least 3 half‑days a week (or a minimum of 8 hours a week).

Hours: Morning shift 8:30‑11:30 a.m.;
Afternoon shift 2:30‑5:30 p.m.;
Midday shift 11:30‑2:30 p.m. (varies by site).

• At least 18 years of age
• Reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s License
• Pass an FBI Criminal Background Check
• Fully authorized to work in the US without restriction
• Reside in the greater Austin metropolitan area
• Ready to become CPR & First Aid certified (or already certified)
• Coaching or childhood education experience preferred
