Senior Member of Technical Staff

Job Summary
:
Oracle is a leading provider of cloud infrastructure solutions, and they are seeking a Senior Member of Technical Staff to join their Technical Strategy and Oversight organization. The role involves collaborating with multiple teams to build the next generation OCI Service Platform, focusing on designing and developing software for new projects while ensuring efficient operations at cloud scale.

Responsibilities
:

• Collaborate with multiple teams to build the next generation OCI Service Platform.

• Define and improve standard practices and procedures.

• Design, specify, and develop software for new projects.

• Perform tasks related to the design, development, and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Qualifications
:
Required
:

• 3+ years of relevant engineering experience.

• BS/MS in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

• Strong grasp of computer science concepts (data structures, algorithms, operating systems, distributed systems fundamentals).

• Experience with software development, preferably in Java.

• Experience building and operating software as a service.

• Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.

• Ability to work in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.

Preferred
:

• Preferably, experience with OCI.

• Experience with containers, Kubernetes, and scalable, reliable workflows is a plus.
