The iOS Engineer II role is part of the Servicing group of the Trip Companion team, which builds the next generation of travel servicing experiences (cancel, change, re-shop and rebook) to help travelers manage their dream vacations with ease. We design responsive, cross-platform, and large-scale solutions that integrate with every line of business-air, lodging, car rental, and more. We're also applying cutting-edge AI technologies to personalize and simplify the planning process for millions of travelers.

Your contributions will support our strategy to make travel more predictive, proactive, and personalized-powered by AI, but grounded in trust and connection.

In this role, you will:

* Design, build, and maintain iOS application features using approved patterns and frameworks, ensuring code quality, readability, and maintainability.

* Implement robust client-side architectures, including system design at the feature and component level, API consumption patterns, and data modeling aligned with backend contracts.

* Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to refine requirements, estimate work, and deliver customer-facing capabilities on time and with high reliability.

* Write and maintain unit, integration, and UI tests, participate in code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement of development, build, and release pipelines.

* Diagnose, debug, and resolve issues in production and pre-production environments, using logs, metrics, and analytics to improve app performance, stability, and user experience.

* Safely integrate and operate AI/ML‑enabled solutions that improve outcomes, including familiarity with AI-driven systems, tools, or workflows and applying AI/ML concepts to real world products.

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; or Equivalent related professional experience.

* 2+ years of relevant professional experience.

* Professional experience developing and shipping native iOS applications, including owning well-defined features or components in a production app.

* Proficiency with core iOS development tools and languages, and experience integrating with RESTful APIs and data models defined by backend services.

* Experience with source control, automated testing, and continuous integration systems in a collaborative, team-based engineering environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Proficient in Swift programming for modern iOS development.

* Experienced with Swift

UI for building declarative, responsive interfaces.

* Experience designing and implementing iOS feature-level architectures, including view hierarchies, navigation flows, API interaction patterns, and data models optimized for performance and reliability.
