Senior Java Developer

We at Coforge are looking for a hands-on Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry) to design and build enterprise-grade applications within the Asset & Wealth Management domain. This onsite role involves backend development, cloud-native design, and Dev Ops practices.

• Develop backend applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, microservices.
• Implement NFRs: exception handling, caching, logging, security.
• Perform impact assessments and reverse engineering for legacy systems.
• Apply OOP, design patterns, clean coding practices.
• Work with ORM frameworks (Hibernate, JPA) and caching solutions (Redis/Memcached).
• Conduct code reviews and implement refactoring for quality and performance.
• Create unit tests and support TDD practices.
• Collaborate within Agile teams using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Teams.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and cloud‑ready architectures.
• Diagnose production issues and drive root-cause analysis and resolution.

• 6–10 years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong NFR implementation across logging, caching, security, exception handling.
• Solid grounding in OOP, design patterns, and software engineering principles.
• Experience with ORM (Hibernate, JPA).
• Source control proficiency with Git.
• Strong experience in unit testing, TDD, and code quality practices.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and team collaboration tools.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
