React Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled UI Engineer (React) to build a management reporting dashboard from the ground up. This dashboard will deliver nuanced reporting to executive leadership and surface highly sensitive finance data.

This is an individual contributor role where you will partner cross-functionally with engineering, product, and finance teams to design and develop a scalable, secure, and high-performance reporting experience.

You will own the end-to-end UI development of a mission-critical executive dashboard. From architecture decisions to component design and performance optimization, you'll play a key role in shaping a polished, data-driven user experience.

You'll collaborate closely with backend engineers and stakeholders to ensure accurate data representation, intuitive workflows, and secure handling of finance-sensitive information. This is an opportunity to build something impactful from scratch with visibility at the executive level.

• Deep experience building production-grade React applications
• Advanced knowledge of React Hooks, component lifecycle, performance optimization, and memoization
• Proven experience building UI dashboards from scratch

• Hands-on experience with Redux and API state management
• Strong understanding of asynchronous data handling and scalable front-end architecture

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+ preferred), HTML, and CSS
• Experience with modern CSS frameworks Open to any of those (Tailwind, Styled Components, CSS Modules, Sass, etc.)
• Material UI needed for web components
• Experience with testing frameworks Open to any (EX: Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, or similar)

• Type Script experience
• Experience working with executive-level reporting or finance data
