Compensation
:
Founding Software Engineer: $120k - $180k, 0.75%-3%

• Own our in‑house CAD solution:
• Integrate across systems: CAD exports, part libraries, pricing, quoting, work instructions
• Build simple, fast UI that operators/designers actually enjoy using
• Work directly with founder and shop to iterate quickly based on reality
• Use AI tools aggressively to move 3–10x faster
• Build hardware interfaces to machine tools

• Comfortable building full‑stack software
• Strong in React + Type Script
• Strong in Python
• Comfortable with systems / performance work when needed (C++ is a plus)
• Can work with messy data and imperfect inputs
• 3+ years experience

• BS: CS / CE / SE or another comparable engineering degree
• Strong portfolio and shipped work beats credentials
• You’ve shipped production software that real users depend on
• You’ve built internal tools and automation for ops or manufacturing
• You’ve built CAD or diagram editors before
• You’ve built scalable data pipelines, ingesting large amounts of unstructured and structured scraped data
• You love working with hardware and have tinkered with hardware products
