Overview

LPL Financial is seeking a Cross‑Functional Capability Lead to drive end‑to‑end Wealth Management (WM) capabilities across multiple Systems of Record (SoRs) including Accounts, Positions, Clients, Participants, Party, Securities, and Pricing. This role is responsible for orchestrating cross‑domain collaboration, analyzing end‑to‑end data and process flows, and ensuring that critical enterprise initiatives are executed with a data‑first, domain‑driven approach. The Capability Lead will act as a horizontal integrator—bridging business intent, data domains, and technical execution to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across the WM ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Provide an end‑to‑end view of WM capabilities and data flows across So Rs

  • Drive cross‑domain alignment on data definitions, ownership, and quality

  • Ensure critical initiatives are designed and delivered using domain‑driven design (DDD) principles

  • Elevate data quality and consistency across WM domains

  • Reduce fragmentation, duplication, and downstream integration risk

  • Develop and maintain an enterprise view of WM capabilities, independent of specific applications or platforms

  • Act as the horizontal integrator across business, technology, and data teams

  • Map and analyze end‑to‑end data flows across SoRs, from origination to consumption

  • Advocate for data products and contracts as foundational elements of delivery

  • Ensure initiatives align to enterprise data strategy and WM domain models

  • Work with architecture and engineering teams to:

  • Translate business capabilities into clear domain and data models

  • Ensure quality is managed at the domain level, not just downstream

  • Drive adoption of quality and observability tooling where appropriate

  • Influence without authority by providing clarity, structure, and shared understanding

  • Serve as a trusted advisor on WM data and capability design
