LPL Financial is seeking a Cross‑Functional Capability Lead to drive end‑to‑end Wealth Management (WM) capabilities across multiple Systems of Record (SoRs) including Accounts, Positions, Clients, Participants, Party, Securities, and Pricing. This role is responsible for orchestrating cross‑domain collaboration, analyzing end‑to‑end data and process flows, and ensuring that critical enterprise initiatives are executed with a data‑first, domain‑driven approach. The Capability Lead will act as a horizontal integrator—bridging business intent, data domains, and technical execution to ensure consistency, quality, and scalability across the WM ecosystem.
ResponsibilitiesProvide an end‑to‑end view of WM capabilities and data flows across So Rs
Drive cross‑domain alignment on data definitions, ownership, and quality
Ensure critical initiatives are designed and delivered using domain‑driven design (DDD) principles
Elevate data quality and consistency across WM domains
Reduce fragmentation, duplication, and downstream integration risk
Develop and maintain an enterprise view of WM capabilities, independent of specific applications or platforms
Act as the horizontal integrator across business, technology, and data teams
Map and analyze end‑to‑end data flows across SoRs, from origination to consumption
Advocate for data products and contracts as foundational elements of delivery
Ensure initiatives align to enterprise data strategy and WM domain models
Work with architecture and engineering teams to:
Translate business capabilities into clear domain and data models
Ensure quality is managed at the domain level, not just downstream
Drive adoption of quality and observability tooling where appropriate
Influence without authority by providing clarity, structure, and shared understanding
Serve as a trusted advisor on WM data and capability design

12+ years of experience in Wealth Management, Financial Services, or Capital Markets
Proven experience working across multiple SoRs and data domains
Experience leading or supporting large‑scale enterprise initiatives
Strong background in data, architecture, or product‑centric roles
Enterprise data architectures experience
Data modeling (conceptual, logical, canonical) experience
Data lineage and impact analysis experience
Data quality and observability practices experience
Domain‑driven design concepts experience
Data products and data contracts
Modern data platforms and integration patterns
$128,003-$213,339/year
Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
