Job Title
Android Mobile Development - Senior
LocationAustin, TX (onsite 4 days a week; alternate locations Westlake and Raleigh, NC)
Responsibilities- Lead the development efforts for Android applications across various business channels, including Retail, Retirement, and Intelligent Assistant.
- Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Guide and mentor engineering team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and troubleshooting to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Implement best practices in security, performance, and user experience for mobile applications.
- BS degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 7+ years of Android development experience with proven team leadership skills.
- Extensive experience developing complex Android applications in an enterprise environment.
- Strong knowledge of REST, JSON, XML, and interfacing Android applications with server‑side APIs.
- Proficiency with Kotlin and familiarity with Agile development practices.
