Java Backend Engineer

ABOUT THIS FEATURED OPPORTUNITY

Join a high-impact Identity Management Team responsible for supporting external customers and powering account and device identity creation across the organization. This team owns a mission-critical  application used company-wide and plays a key role in maintaining secure, scalable, and highly available systems.

This is a backend-focused role centered on building clean, modern Java services with strong test coverage, implementing custom business logic, and contributing to a new deployment structure designed for scalability and resilience.

As a Java Backend Engineer, you will:

• Design and develop modern, scalable backend services supporting identity and device management
• Write clean, maintainable Java code with comprehensive unit and integration test coverage
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs used across internal and external systems
• Contribute to high-availability, large-scale distributed systems
• Partner with cross-functional teams to implement secure identity workflows
• Support and evolve a new deployment architecture leveraging containerization and CI/CD pipelines

This role is approximately 80% backend focused
, with occasional collaboration on frontend components when needed.

• Strong Java Backend Expertise (5–10 Years) Proven hands‑on experience building backend systems using modern Java. Deep understanding of object‑oriented principles, clean code practices, and scalable architecture patterns.
• Testing & Framework Proficiency Strong experience with:
  • Spring (core concepts and ecosystem)
  • JUnit and/or TestNG
  • RESTful API development
  • Writing robust unit and integration test cases
• Experience with Large-Scale, High-Availability Systems Background working on complex distributed systems with high uptime requirements.

  • Docker
  • CI/CD pipelines
  • Jenkins
  • Modern deployment architectures

• IAM (Identity and Access Management) experience
• Exposure to identity lifecycle management (account/device provisioning)
• Full‑stack experience (React preferred; ~20% frontend contribution)
