The AI Data Products - Data services Apps team at Apple invites interested engineers to join us in developing and operating critical, large-scale applications.

Our engineers design and build robust Java-based solutions that power some of Apple’s most important workloads in [mention relevant areas like Services, Retail, etc.]. You will be joining a team of experts working on modern full-stack technologies, distributed systems, and scalable architectures, helping to deliver high-performance, reliable, and user‑centric experiences. Your work will be deployed at significant scale, impacting the experiences of millions of Apple users.

• Design and Develop scalable and resilient microservices and APIs using Java and related technologies, adhering to established architectural patterns and best practices.
• Collaborate and Contribute actively within a diverse team to deliver high‑quality, user‑centered features for our database observability platform.
• Deploy and Monitor applications on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) using containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Evaluate and Adopt new technologies and open‑source tools to enhance the capabilities and efficiency of our database observability platform.

• 3+ years of industry experience
• 1+ of Java development experience
• Demonstrated experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable applications and APIs
• Fundamentals of system design, microservices architecture, and API development
• Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., Postgre
  
  SQL, Oracle)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• BS in Computer Science or related fields or experience

• MS in Computer Science/related fields with 4+ years of relevant full‑stack Java development experience
• Expertise in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and microservices
• Experience with cloud‑native development and deployment practices
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing strategies
• Familiarity with working with different Data Store technologies
• Familiarity with working with GenAI/LLM’s is a plus
