Senior Software Engineer

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering (building and shipping software) with end-to-end lifecycle ownership, including leadership roles. You have contributed to application code, implemented new features, fixed bugs, and worked across the software lifecycle—from design and development to deployment and support.
• Strong Full Stack Engineer – Java, J2EE, Spring, Struts, Hibernate.
• Hands-on expertise in Git Hub Enterprise: branching strategies, repository management, Git Hub Actions, Packages, Advanced Security, and Org-level Administration.
• Proven Release/ Change Management: versioning, readiness reviews, and rollout strategies, and Quality Engineering leadership: testing strategy and quality gates.
• Strong background in Dev Ops principles: CI/CD, automated testing, infrastructure as code, and observability.
• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong communication and leadership skills to influence across engineering and leadership teams.

About the Role

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with deep Dev Ops and Git Hub expertise to architect, build, and own our software delivery ecosystem. You ll design and implement developer workflows, CI/CD automation, and platform tooling that empower our engineering teams to deliver, test, and deploy software rapidly and reliably.

• Enable Engineering Productivity
• Introduce best practices for design and code reviews, automation, and collaboration.
• Partner with engineering and operations to drive developer efficiency and reliability.
• Lead training and documentation to ensure adoption across teams.
• Lead Development Operations Architecture
• Define the overall Git Hub strategy, including repository structure, branching models, standards, and governance.
• Establish scalable CI/CD pipelines using Git Hub Actions and other Dev Ops tools.
• Integrate testing, security, and compliance into every stage of the software lifecycle.
• Integrate security and compliance to automate evidence and enforcement guardrails through pipelines
• Implement safe rollout strategies with automated verification
• Advance Dev Ops & Cloud Practices
• Implement Terraform to configure the application layer.
• Implement Kubernetes for container orchestration.
• Ensure secure handling of secrets, access, and compliance requirements.
• Build automated monitoring, alerting, and observability into systems.
• Monitor KPIs to drive improvements and continually remove delivery bottlenecks.
