Apex Fintech Solutions is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to play a key role on our engineering team, responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will leverage your expertise to contribute to the software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and implementation to testing and deployment. You will collaborate with team members and cross-functional partners to deliver scalable, reliable, and efficient software products that meet the needs of our users and business objectives.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership and Vision:
  Define and drive technical strategy and architectural vision across multiple teams and projects. Identify and champion organization-wide technical initiatives that align with business objectives and improve engineering effectiveness.
• System-Wide Architecture:
  Design and oversee large-scale, complex systems that span multiple teams and services. Evaluate trade-offs between different architectural approaches and make decisions that balance technical excellence with business needs.
• Technical Standards and Best Practices:
  Establish and evangelize engineering standards, best practices, and design patterns across the organization. Drive adoption of new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies that improve productivity and code quality.
• Mentorship at Scale:
  Provide technical mentorship and career guidance to engineers across multiple teams and levels. Develop and deliver technical training programs to uplevel engineering capabilities organization-wide.
• Systems Thinking:
  Deep understanding of how various systems interact and the ability to identify optimization opportunities across organizational boundaries.
• AI Tools and Practices:
  Level up the organization’s use of AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity, code quality, and solution innovation. Stay informed about ways AI can support software engineering and delivery.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  Serve as a technical advisor and key decision-maker across engineering teams. Lead cross-functional initiatives, facilitate technical discussions, and build consensus on complex technical decisions that impact multiple teams.
• Communication to Leadership:
  Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to executive leadership and influence strategic decisions.
• Continuous Learning and Innovation:
  Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software engineering, and apply this knowledge to improve development processes and methodologies.

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience) required
• 8+ years of experience in software development with a strong proficiency in diverse programming languages including Java, Go, Python, or C# to build robust software applications. Ability to adapt and learn new languages and technologies as required by project demands.
