Work Setting:
Hybrid. 3 days remote with 2 days onsite (Mondays and Thursdays) at the client location in Austin, TX

• Availability to work 2 days per week at the Client’s site in Austin, TX (required)
• Experience in server-side and web services development, enhancing and maintaining enterprise-class applications on the J2EE platform (8 years)
• Experience participating in all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) (8 years)
• Development experience implementing applications utilizing J2EE application servers, authentication and authorization, and caching strategies (8 years)
• Programming experience using Java, J2EE, REST/SOAP, HTML5, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, Type Script, Spring, JSON, XML, JWT, NPM, Maven, OpenAPI v3, OAuth, Postman, Ready
  
  API, Mule Soft, or similar technologies (8 years)
• Experience implementing REST services supporting client-facing applications and implementing REST services security using JWT, OAuth, and other related security standards (8 years)
• Experience in development of self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components with demonstrable experience developing, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise-level web services including complete ownership of the services stack (8 years)

• Experience with JBoss or IBM Web Sphere Application Server 8 or later (3 years)
• Experience with Agile Development Methodologies, preferably Scrum (3 years)
• Experience with CI/CD methodologies and containerized application deployments (3 years)
• Experience with web applications developed for cloud platforms (3 years)
• Experience in test-driven development and test creation using Karma, Jasmine, and Selenium (3 years)

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-class server-side and web services applications on J2EE platforms
• Implement and maintain RESTful and SOAP web services supporting client-facing applications with comprehensive security using JWT, OAuth, and related standards
• Develop self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components; maintain full ownership of services stack from design through deployment
• Participate in all phases of the SDLC including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance
• Develop and optimize enterprise-level web services; implement authentication, authorization, and caching strategies to ensure security and performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment (preferably Scrum); participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement practices
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and containerized application deployments; write test-driven code using testing frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, and Selenium
