We have an exciting Senior .NET Developer opportunity with a state agency in Austin, TX. This is a long‑term (12+ months) contract role. This position will perform highly advanced (senior‑level) computer programming work, including research, design, and implementation of web‑based applications.

This role is an on‑site role. The location can be Austin, TX;
San Antonio, TX; or Houston, TX. You can choose any of these locations to work onsite.

• Perform research and analysis required for specialized programs or routines to supplement and enhance front and back‑end web‑based applications software using HTML, HTML5, ASP.NET/C#
• Design, develop, and implement specialized programs or routines to supplement and enhance front- and back‑end web‑based applications using HTML, HTML5, ASP.NET (Blazor)/C#.
• Write, test, evaluate, debug, and document complex programs, including client/server and web-based applications, using C# (.NET), MVC, and/or SQL.
• Provide support for the Client's application software by diagnosing issues, implementing changes to resolve them, and maintaining the software at the most current level.
• Work closely with other developers, business analysts, project leadership, and business areas to validate requirements, understand technical issues and limitations, and model solutions that meet functional and technical requirements.
• Recommend improvements and identify risks to processes for application development projects, as needed.
• 7 years of experience with highly complex (senior‑level) software development and web programming to enhance user experience.
• 7 years of experience with functional and performance automation of APIs, web services, and web applications using C# .NET Framework, MVC, and SQL Server.
• 5 years of experience using Azure Dev Ops and AWS Dev Ops.
• 5 years of experience working in an Agile‑based development environment.
