Applied Machine Learning Engineer

As part of the broader Analytics team encompassing data engineering, data visualization, and data science, you will play a key role in advancing our AI‑powered analytics capabilities. You’ll be responsible for taking proof‑of‑concept AI solutions and evolving them into scalable, production‑ready systems that power business insight and efficiency. This role sits at the intersection of business intelligence, AI agent development, and software engineering, requiring both strong technical expertise and the ability to translate complex business needs into intelligent, automated solutions.

As an expert in AI orchestration, you will own projects end‑to‑end: designing agentic workflows, building retrieval systems, implementing evaluation frameworks, and supporting intuitive user experiences for our internal stakeholders.

This role will be in a hybrid capacity in Austin, TX. This role is not eligible for sponsorship.

• Design and develop agentic workflows using frameworks such as Lang Chain and Lang Graph to automate analytical and decision‑making processes.

• Architect and maintain the underlying logic for tool calling, memory management, and context‑aware reasoning to ensure reliable, scalable agent performance.

• Design and develop Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) systems that enrich agent outputs with relevant internal data, managing vector stores, embeddings, and semantic search infrastructure.

• Implement evaluation and monitoring frameworks to assess agent reliability, task accuracy, and behavior over time, ensuring quality and consistency in production environments.

• Partner cross‑functionally with business stakeholders to understand analytical needs, translate them into AI‑driven workflows, and ensure alignment with real‑world operational goals.

• Continuously research and apply emerging best practices in agentic AI, prompt engineering, and LLM frameworks to enhance performance and maintain technical leadership.

• Build and maintain intuitive user interfaces that enable non‑technical stakeholders to interact seamlessly with AI agents and access insights effortlessly.
