This is an opportunity to join Apex's Accounts Engineering team in Austin, Texas, responsible for supporting the account management needs of clients and serving as a core platform for asset custody.

• Working with a variety of languages/frameworks such as Java, Go, Python and technologies including RDBMS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Google Cloud Platform
• Designing, developing, testing, deploying, maintaining and improving software
• Building resilient, self‑scaling, self‑healing services that allow you to sleep through the night
• Writing high‑quality, well‑tested code and maintaining high code‑quality standards across the team via code reviews
• Attending training and expanding domain knowledge on account creation and maintenance
• Encouraging innovation by questioning business processes throughout the company

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of prior work experience preferred

• Experience in software development with a modern object‑oriented programming language, preferably Java, Go & Python; knowledge of RDBMS or SQL and the ability to learn new languages and technologies quickly.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills.
• Previous knowledge in financial markets isn’t required but interest is a plus.
• Adaptability: ability to establish process and standards while being flexible and willing to try new things.

• Hybrid: work in office 3 days per week.
