We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join the engineering organization. You’ll work closely with the rest of our product development team as a force multiplier on both scaling our AI first initiatives and building new core backend and AI functionality. If you’re looking to contribute directly to the growth and success of our rapidly growing young company, then this is the right place for you!

This is an in-office position in our Austin office.

• Work and collaborate with the Product team and other Engineers to build world class bring new features and functionality to our customers, primarily by using an AI‑first approach to product development
• Write code, primarily in Python, that spans all parts of our backend services and infrastructure from RESTful services to asynchronous processing engines
• Drive deliverables with ownership of identifying risks, mitigating them and providing suggestions for alternative routes when appropriate
• Participate in code reviews and work as part of the team to make the whole group more efficient and productive.
• Investigate potential errors and alerts in our platform and address outages in a timely manner to support SLA requirements

• 6+ year development experience building backend services in Python
• Experience building and scaling docker based applications a cloud environment
• Experience working with distributed and event based architectures
• Experience building and maintaining a robust CI/CD system
