Job Title: Software Engineer 3
Location: Austin, TX

• Client requires the services of 1 Software Engineer 3, hereafter referred to as Candidate(s), who meets the general qualifications of Software Engineer 3, Applications/Software Development and the specifications outlined in this document for the Client.
• Develops software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes. Investigates problem areas. Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
• This contractor role is for a Senior Java Developer, and they will work on the PCS SCOR EI. This role will be responsible for making updates to the SCOR Java.
• Updates include changes to business logic, updates to the user interface and business logic as well as extending reporting capabilities and the system data model. Supports application enhancements and defect corrections in maintenance mode.
• Supports applications in multiple environments with coding testing, peer reviews, documentation, defect root cause analysis, and troubleshooting as required. Maintaining code coverage, testing, and security policies and procedures is required. Available for on-call support as needed. Other duties as assigned and required by the unit operations.

Minimum Requirements
:

• 8 Years Required Experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) in Java programming language
• 8 Years Required Experience in applications development on J2EE platform
• 8 Years Required Experience in writing SQL for relational databases
• 8 Years Required Experience in RESTful web services on Spring platform
• 8 Years Required Experience working on Spring Aspect Oriented Programming like transaction management and security
• 8 Years Required Experience in RESTful web services on Spring platform.
• 8 Years Required Experience with JUnit and Unit Test development
• 4 Years Preferred Experience with Angular UI Framework
• 4 Years Preferred Experience with Crystal Reports
• 4 Years Preferred Experience with PowerBI
