Job Overview
Contract position based out of Austin, TX. 3‑10 months per contract. This role involves traveling to various distribution centers, warehouses, fulfillment centers, and similar commercial sites, performing structured cabling upgrades and new installations.
Responsibilities- Run and terminate Cat5 and Cat6 network cables in commercial environments.
- Install commercial‑grade CCTV, including mounting cameras, running video/data cables, and connecting to recording systems.
- Install access control hardware such as card readers, electric strikes, and control panels.
- Install and configure wireless access points, ensuring optimal placement for coverage.
- Operate scissor lifts and boom lifts safely for elevated installations.
- Use hand and power tools such as drills, cable testers, and crimping tools.
- Interpret basic construction drawings and cable layouts.
- Follow job‑site safety protocols, including PPE usage and fall protection.
- Communicate and coordinate with other trades and supervisors.
Intermediate level in low‑voltage installation with experience in structured cabling, CCTV, access control, and wireless systems. Proficiency in punchdown, cable installation, and knowledge of Cat5/Cat

Roll‑Out techs must travel to NW Arkansas for day one; a hotel will be provided for the first night. Techs will undergo orientation and be assigned tools, traveling partners or teams, routes, and the company vehicle.
Compensation & Benefits- Pay range: $19.00 – $21.00/hr.
