Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC equipment and systems; replace defective parts as needed
- Perform preventive maintenance on a variety of HVAC systems to ensure proper operation and prevent failures
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, recommending necessary repairs, improvements, and upgrades
- Clearly present pricing, value, and benefits of recommended services
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by understanding client needs and expectations
- Complete all assigned work safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards
- Minimum 3+ years of HVAC industry experience (commercial preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HVAC theory, tools, methods, and equipment
- Must provide basic personal hand tools
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, blueprints, and drawings
- Ability to bend, stoop, lift, reach, and handle heavy equipment as required
- Willingness to participate in on-call rotation
- Experience working with the following systems:
- Rooftop units
- Cooling towers
- Chillers
- Heat pumps
- Air conditioners
- Hydronic systems
- Geothermal units
- Gas furnaces & boilers
- Oil furnaces & boilers
