Installation Technician, Field/Service Technician
Responsibilities
Daily installation and setup of various residential and light commercial low voltage/automation electronic systems including audio/video, lighting, shades, climate control, telephone and computer networks. Building audio/video racks, speaker installation, mounting TVs. Prewire and trim out of all low voltage cabling. Calibrate and troubleshoot audio video systems, network, lighting control, and automation equipment. Provide programming and operational instruction session for end users.
Maintain a clean work area and vehicle on a daily basis. Complete accurate job reports, change orders, and work orders. Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and supplies, and organize as needed.
Professional, courteous, polite, and respectful manner in all situations. Organizational skills. Energetic, positive attitude and driven personality. Effective written & verbal communication skills. Be a self-starter with the ability to work independently. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Valid driver’s license with a clean record and insurance with reliable transportation. Candidates must successfully complete employment background investigation and drug screening.
Experience- Lead Technician must have 1 year of residential or commercial AV installations to a high-quality standard. Experience with systems integration including audio/video, lighting, shades, climate control, security, CCTV, telephone, and computer networks. Must have working knowledge and experience with various high-end control systems including, but not limited to Crestron, Control4, Lutron. Control4, and/or CEDIA certifications preferred. Networking knowledge.
- Entry Technician must have general knowledge of electronics and installation. Ability to operate hand tools and power tools. Will train the right candidate.
Full-time
Salary$27.00 - $35.00 per hour
