Field Install Supervisor - Commercial/Retail Projects

Location:

Remote in Texas (travel required)
Salary: $68,000 - $75,000/ year + Bonus

Our client is a nationwide contractor that partners with designers and manufacturers to deliver branded corporate and retail environments. They specialize in on-site installation of signage, graphics, vinyl wraps, fixtures, furniture, and specialty equipment for large, multi-site programs.

Role Overview
  • Lead field installation projects from start to finish, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to scope, schedule, and safety standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate on-site crews, manage day-to-day activities, and serve as the primary point of contact between the field, office, and client teams.
  • Oversee materials and logistics, verify site readiness, and proactively troubleshoot issues to keep projects on track.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Review and interpret blueprints, installation drawings, and design documents to plan and execute work.
  • Direct hands-on installation efforts involving carpentry, millwork, fixture setting, signage, vinyl, patch/paint, and related trades as needed.
  • Enforce jobsite safety practices, maintain clean and organized work areas, and complete required documentation and closeout reporting.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and needs clearly with clients, contractors, and internal project managers.
What You’ll Need
  • 5+ years of proven project/site supervision experience in commercial, retail, or specialty installations.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to organize, delegate, and motivate installation teams.
  • Proficiency reading construction documents and installation plans, with solid problem-solving skills for field conditions and changes.
  • Ability to travel 60%+ of the time
  • Familiarity with tools, equipment, and materials used in fixture, signage, and finish work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, professional client-facing presence, and flexibility to travel and adapt to changing site demands.
