Job Descriptionπ What You Will Do
As a Fire Sprinkler Inspector, youβll play a vital role in keeping lives and property safe by ensuring sprinkler systems meet all safety standards. Youβll perform quality inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance while delivering excellent customer service.
How You Will Do It
β Perform routine inspections, testing, servicing, and installations of life safety products (and competitive brands)
β‘ Work with low voltage wiring and associated devices
π» Complete and archive inspection documentation via laptop
π οΈ Make minor repairs and programming changes under supervision
π Follow a structured inspection schedule and complete assignments on time
π Read & interpret blueprints, diagrams, and manuals
π€ Provide excellent customer service and clear communication
π Always follow safety guidelines and procedures
β Perform other duties as assigned
Qualificationsβ What We Look For
Required:
π§― 5β10 years of documented experience in sprinkler systems
π REM-I License (Texas Department of Insurance requirement)
π§ Experience with wet, dry, pre-action, deluge, and foam systems
ποΈ Ability to read & interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
π οΈ Skilled with hand tools and multi-meters
πͺ Physical ability to lift/move 50β70 lbs & work in challenging spaces (ladders, scaffolding, crawl spaces, ceilings)
β° Flexibility to work on-call, nights, weekends, and travel as needed
π‘οΈ Ability to pass background & drug test
π Strong organizational skills, positive attitude, and quick learner
