Job DescriptionUnited Trades of America is seeking experienced Pipe fitters to join our team for a key project in Houston, TEXAS. As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, and maintaining piping systems for various construction projects, ensuring all work complies with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble and install pipe systems, pipe supports, and hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required specifications.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine the layout and installation procedures for pipe systems.
- Install and maintain pipe systems for heating, cooling, and industrial purposes.
- Inspect work sites, measure, and mark pipes for cutting and threading.
- Test pipe systems for leaks using pressure gauges and other equipment.
- Collaborate with other team members, such as welders and project managers, to complete tasks on time.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with local codes and regulations.
