Commercial HVAC​/R Service Technician

$5,000 SIGN ON BONUS

Seeking HVAC Service Technicians (Commercial). Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen. Clear Valid Driver's License Required. EPA License required. Top Compensation and Benefits. Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in HVAC Service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Diagnose and repair HVAC systems including split systems, rooftop units (RTUs), and refrigeration equipment.

· Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections to identify and correct issues before failures occur.

· Install, start-up, and commission new HVAC and refrigeration systems per manufacturer and company specifications.

· Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components, refrigerant systems, and controls.

· Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and inspection documentation.

· Follow all company and industry safety policies, including lockout/tagout and PPE compliance.

· Provide excellent customer service through clear communication, professionalism, and quality workmanship.

· Coordinate effectively with team members, dispatchers, and supervisors to ensure efficient job completion.

· Be available for on-call rotation and overtime as required by company needs.

Requirements

· Minimum 3 years of HVAC service experience in commercial or residential systems.

· Must hold a Universal EPA Certification and valid Texas TDLR HVAC License.

· Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

· Ability to work 40-60 hours per week and participate in an on-call schedule.

· Strong knowledge of HVAC and refrigeration systems, electrical schematics, and diagnostic tools.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift and carry up to 75 pounds. Ability to stand, bend, and climb ladders for extended periods. Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.

Work Environment

Field-based position servicing commercial and residential job sites. Regular travel within the Austin and surrounding areas required. May require overtime and weekend availability based on business demand.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $45.00 per hour
