ITC is looking for motivated individuals to join our fiber splicing team. Experience in the Telecom industry is preferred but not required. We will fully train you to splice fiber optic cable and earn a great income, including underground and aerial splicing, and running fiber drops for our client. We service both residential and commercial customers.

Job Requirements- Operate trenching equipment such as a mini skid steer or walk‑behind trencher.
- Capable of carrying, handling, and climbing 28‑ft ladders.
- Work at heights:
Splicing fiber on utility poles and strands. - Lift and move up to 100 lbs.
- Flexible hours; workdays may exceed normal hours, and weekend and holiday work may be required.
- Valid state driver’s license with a non‑negligent driving record.
- Pass pre‑employment background check and drug/alcohol screen.
- Visually perceive differences in wire and cable colors.
- Complete on‑the‑job and/or classroom training to remain competitive.
- Standing, talking, hearing, using hands to finger, handle, feel or operate objects, tools, or controls, and reaching with hands and arms.
- Skill in operating some listed tools and equipment; ability to perform heavy manual tasks for extended periods.
- Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting, and/or carrying up to 100 pounds.
- Vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to adjust focus.
- Regular work in inclement weather.
- Frequent work near moving mechanical parts; exposed to wet, humid conditions and vibration.
- Occasional work in high, precarious places; occasional exposure to fumes, airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock.
