Our plumbers provide a wide range of plumbing services, including faucet repairs, water heater installations, and plumbing system replacements.
Responsibilities- Respond promptly to customer service calls, conduct thorough inspections of plumbing issues, accurately diagnose problems, offer effective solutions and estimates, and successfully close service sales.
- With the necessary licensing, proficiently install and repair various plumbing fixtures including sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, garbage disposal units, dishwashers, and water softeners.
- Conduct sewer and drain cleaning services in diverse environments such as basements, roofs, confined spaces, and close quarters, ensuring thorough cleaning and restoration of work sites to meet pre-job conditions.
- Prepare and submit invoices, totaling costs of services/products provided, collect payment, and explain Roto-Rooter guarantees in writing and via smartphone.
- Collect payment and move on to the next service call.
- Valid driver’s license.
- State plumbing license required.
- Three or more years of repair and service plumbing experience, with a proven track record in selling plumbing products and services.
- Full knowledge of plumbing systems essential for performing duties.
- Plumbers expected to gain Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training (OSHA requirement) within the first year of employment.
- Journeyman license or equivalent certification as specified by the state in which the branch operates. Unlicensed plumbers must obtain certification as soon as eligible per state law.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for effective customer service and strong interpersonal skills with clients and coworkers.
