The Foreman is responsible for monitoring installations and ensuring work is performed according to Rosendin standards and project specifications. Work cooperatively with the general contractor and/or customer to manage the project, schedule, and employees. Responsible for maintaining productivity, safety, quality control, labor cost, scheduling, manpower movement, procurement of materials, and any other activities impacting successful project completion.

• Achieve Rosendin productivity objectives by effectively managing and assigning tasks to crew members, while maintaining accurate labor tracking.
• Establish project goals and monitor success in reaching them on an ongoing basis.
• Manage purchase orders and ensure ordered materials are received while adhering to bulk buy material procedures.
• Adhere to project contract document changes and Rosendin change order policy.
• Utilize pre‑prefabrication facilities and company‑wide installation methods and policies.
• Ensure proper safety equipment, materials and tools are onsite.
• Provide Foreman with sufficient notice of crew changes.
• Proactively anticipate and resolve potential issues.
• Ensure crew members start and finish on time; maintain legal meal/break times.
• Conduct effective performance evaluations of crew members.
• Maintain complete and accurate “as‑built” documentation.
• Communicate effectively with owners, architects, general contractors, management, crew and others.
• Ensure all work meets NEC, federal, state, county, local codes and contract documents.
• Adhere to all Rosendin, state and federal safety policies and procedures.

• Texas TDLR Journeyman or Master’s License.
• 5+ years of electrical experience.
• Experience in a Foreman, Superintendent or other electrical leadership role.

Physical Demands

• Perform ladder, wire pulling and conduit pulling.
• Walk, climb, lift, squats, crawl, kneel, push, pull and reach overhead on routine and repetitive basis.
• Maintain standing position for long periods while performing repetitive actions such as grasping or manipulating wires.
• Work off of ladders, man lifts or reach booms.
• Lift 50 lbs. from ground and pull 50 lbs. of force.
• Use of feet, legs, hands and arms to climb and balance on scaffolding or ladders.
• Use of arms, hands and fingers to reach, handle cables, wires, tools and other equipment.
• Work off of ladders, man lifts or reach booms without fear of heights.
• Ability to see and hear, correct vision and hearing, distinguish color coded wires.
• Adjust vision focus and use peripheral vision and depth perception.

Working Environment

• Exposure to various weather conditions including cold, snow, rain, heat.
• High noise levels.
• Work is sometimes noisy, cramped, and dirty.
• Hazards include risk of electrical shock and other site accidents.
• 40‑hour workweek normal; overtime, nights or weekends may be required.
