- Provide customer service to patients, donors, visitors, and/or staff by following Allied Universal security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and whenever appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols across the healthcare location—including interior areas, parking areas, and perimeter points—while noting and reporting unusual activity and/or hazards.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, problem‑solving, coordinating with site leadership and/or local emergency responders as needed.
- Control access to designated areas by monitoring entry points, verifying authorization, and documenting visitor and/or vendor activity per site procedures.
- Carry and maintain issued equipment in accordance with applicable laws, licensing requirements, and Allied Universal and/or site policies, including proper firearm handling, reporting, and post‑order compliance.
- Possess an armed guard card or license.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation required as per law.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Drug screen required as per law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements may be subject to state or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.
